Responsibilities
  • Education of office staff on REMs enrolment for HCP and Patients
  • Educating healthcare providers and staff on the clinical and logistical aspects of onboarding a new patient, in accordance with product label utilizing Sanofi approved resources.
  • Ensure office are audit-ready and comply with the requirements of the REMS Program, including following up/retraining on any identified findings.
  • Implement disease state education patient programs pre-Rx, providing patients and care partners with education on disease awareness, therapy options, and the onboarding process before prescription.
  • Developing and facilitating relationships with staff
  • Work collaboratively across field teams to successfully support patient needs.
  • Educating patients and their care partners on safety and what to expect when prescribed Sanofi MS products
  • Working cross-functionally and with lab vendor partners, monitors lab adherence for patients enrolled in the Central Lab Program, following up with HCP office staff to communicate adherence concerns and next steps, as a HIPAA compliant contact
  • Responsible for identifying, escalating and assisting in the resolution of REMS deviations at the HCP and HCF level.
  • Provide education to patients and care partners on label on product and lab process.
  • Attending and presenting at cross-functional team meetings/calls, Zone, National POAs/Meetings and Conferences
  • Supporting the business with other activities and special projects, as needed
  • Manage relationships with contracted nurse groups responsible for pre-Rx disease state education programs.
  • Act as the primary liaison to oversee vendor performance and ensure alignment with the Neurology Business Unit's objectives.
  • Lead process improvements for seamless collaboration between the TEM team, vendors, and cross-functional partners.
  • Monitor the implementation and success of disease patient programs pre-Rx, addressing gaps and ensuring greater understanding of disease state and therapy in the market.
  • Communicate the vision for the Therapeutic Education Manager team, including the team's roles, responsibilities and goals
  • Work with key cross-functional partners to communicate and execute on the Neurology Business Unit’s commercial objectives
  • Ensure coordination and collaboration of the TEM team with the broader Neorolgoy team, including implementing processes and interfaces to ensure alignment
  • Work with key home office and field based cross-functional partners to develop, communicate and implement operating processes and procedures for the team
  • Collaborate with the leadership of other field-based teams to ensure a coordinated approach to customer prioritization/targeting and execution
  • Conduct field visits and monitor overall team performance and address issues of under-performance; provide coaching and professional development opportunities
  • Ensure the TEM team and relevant vendors understand all relevant policies and acts in a fully compliant manner
Desired Qualifications
  • 3-5 years prior experience managing a team of field-based employees
  • MS experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated success managing teams of at least 6 individuals
  • Ability to interface cross-functionally both at the field level and with internal corporate functions to establish necessary infrastructure to support a team
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, including building strong working relationships, and managing and resolving conflict.
  • Demonstrates initiative, teamwork and accountability.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt to change and react constructively in a high-energy and fast paced environment
  • Previous commercial experience with an infused therapy
  • Familiarity with managed care and particularly "buy and bill" therapy strongly desired
  • Experience managing within and across contracted field teams.
  • A nursing or clinical background is desired but not required
  • MBA or other advanced degree preferred
