Requirements
  • A Bachelor or advanced degree in an Engineering field, preferably Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering, or another technical discipline combined with process design and hands-on microelectronics water and wastewater treatment system experience.
  • At least 10 years of related experience, preferably in process engineering, with emphasis on process design and/or operation of water, wastewater, or waste treatment.
  • Demonstrated experience with ultrapure water, wastewater, and reclaim treatment processes and system design or operation for the microelectronics industry.
  • Leadership experience or demonstrated leadership competency to connect people, set and communicate a vision, align and inspire a team toward an objective, train, coach, and mentor others, and make effective decisions with limited information under evolving conditions.
  • Ability to design complete integrated water, wastewater, or waste treatment solutions, including preliminary design of associated tanks, rotating equipment, piping, instrumentation, and controls.
  • Ability to integrate multiple main unit operations, such as clarifiers, membrane bioreactors, reverse osmosis, and thermal processes, into a single flow sheet while considering recycle streams, flow variations, and varying influent qualities.
  • Strong oral and written English communication skills for customer-facing communication, including presentations, and internal collaboration and influence.
  • Organization and time-management skills.
  • Computer skills using Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and comparable Google Suite applications.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment under changing conditions.
  • Critical and creative thinking and ability to evaluate numerous options.

Responsibilities
  • Align a team of Process Engineers working on a flow sheet with a strategy, deliverables, and schedule, and ensure process deliverables meet project quality and schedule requirements.
  • Lead the design of complete water, wastewater, or waste treatment solutions, including flow sheets, unit processes, and process parameters, using in-house and industry design tools.
  • Apply biological treatment, ammonia removal, solids separation, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration, reverse osmosis, ion exchange, ultraviolet treatment, and gas-transfer membrane processes to microelectronics treatment solutions.
  • Own the overall Process Flow Diagram, associated flow tables or mass balance, and overall process guarantees, including interconnections and upstream/downstream process impacts.
  • Engage in piloting, benchmarking, and treatability studies during design, commissioning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of ultrapure water treatment solutions.
  • Serve as the lead technical contact for customers and represent the Process Engineering team working on the flow sheet.
  • Serve as the lead technical contact with other project functions.
  • Identify and support management of technical risks related to the treatment process and compile risks across the flow sheet with the project Process Engineers.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues using data and observations.
  • Understand relevant regulations and liaise with regulatory agencies as needed.
  • Own and be accountable for assigned project success by achieving treatment requirements and customer satisfaction through proactive communication, collaboration, and corrective-action leadership.
  • Demonstrate the company’s expertise through customer and conference presentations.
  • Provide training and one-to-one coaching to Process Engineering team members.
  • Build long-term relationships with customers and industry experts and present at industry conferences and technical forums.
  • Participate in innovation of solutions, technologies, and markets, and train and mentor others in process design.
Desired Qualifications

Veolia raises $1.3B in oversubscribed senior bond offering with $3.8B orders

Veolia has completed a €1.15 billion senior bond offering across two tranches. The issuance comprises €650 million with a four-year maturity at a 3.678% coupon and €500 million with an eight-year maturity at a 4.088% coupon. The transaction attracted over 250 orders totalling €3.4 billion. The public services group said the substantial oversubscription, investor quality and favourable terms reflect positive market perception of Veolia's credit profile and international growth prospects, as well as its financial strength.

Veolia posts 10.4% net income growth in H1 2026, raises full-year guidance to 8%

Veolia Environnement reported revenue of €22.93 billion for the first half of 2026, up 1.5% at constant scope and foreign exchange, excluding energy prices. The company's EBITDA reached €3.55 billion, rising 5% with margins improving by 70 basis points to 16%. Current net income grew 10.4% at constant scope and forex, whilst net free cash flow improved by €164 million compared to the same period in 2025. The company achieved €195 million in efficiency gains during the period. Veolia completed its acquisition of Cleaners in the United States, which contributed to net financial debt of €24.5 billion. The company raised its full-year 2026 current net income growth guidance to at least 8%, citing strong operational performance and well-controlled financial charges. Revenue growth in water technology faced temporary delays in the Middle East due to geopolitical tensions.

Veolia launches $452M non-dilutive cash-settled convertible bonds due 2032

Veolia Environnement has launched a €400 million offering of non-dilutive cash-settled convertible bonds due January 2032. The bonds will be offered exclusively to qualified institutional investors through an accelerated bookbuilding process. The synthetic convertible bonds offer exposure to Veolia's share performance but will be cash-settled only, without issuing new shares. The bonds will bear an annual interest rate between 0.50% and 0.75%, with a conversion premium of 20% over a reference share price. Concurrently, Veolia will purchase cash-settled call options to hedge its exposure. The company intends to use proceeds for general corporate purposes, including purchasing the options. BNP Paribas and Natixis serve as joint global coordinators, with BofA Securities, Citigroup and Morgan Stanley as joint bookrunners. Veolia plans to list the bonds on Euronext Access within 30 days.

Veolia raises $791M through convertible bond offering to refinance 2021 debt

Enviri spins off New Enviri as standalone public company with $1.2B revenue after Clean Earth sale

New Enviri has launched as a standalone public company following the completion of Clean Earth's sale to Veolia Environnement.
