  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Marketing Research, Business, Communications, Psychology, Sociology, Statistics, or a related field (MBA / Master’s Degree preferred)
  • 6+ years of post-degree work experience specifically in primary market research, working for external research vendors and / or internal corporate market research departments
  • 5+ years of B-to-B and B-to-C experience, preferably within manufacturing and / or technology industries, with proven experience in conducting market research studies to support new product development and launch
  • High proficiency in designing and executing complex market research studies and experience with survey platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, Survey Monkey)
  • Expertise in performing multivariate analytics, including factor, regression, and cluster analyses using data analytics software (e.g., SPSS, SAS)
  • Meticulous attention to detail, accuracy, and data integrity
  • Mastery of PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Strong business acumen and experience working within a matrixed organization
  • Able to travel approximately 10% of the time annually
Responsibilities
  • Implement best practices in primary market research, including design, sampling, and analytic methodologies, to deliver compelling research findings and implications
  • Execute all aspects of quantitative market research, including designing custom surveys, overseeing data collection processes for representative sampling and data integrity, performing statistical analyses, and crafting insightful reports and presentations
  • Conduct qualitative market research, including in-depth interviews and focus group discussions both in-person and online
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business objectives, identify primary market research needs, and execute tailored quantitative and qualitative research studies to provide actionable insights
