Requirements
  • Strong public relations and marketing skills with the ability to represent Apex confidently in external settings.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), and databases.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage and build rapport with diverse employers and stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with external partners.
Responsibilities
  • Proactively build and maintain relationships with local businesses, organizations, and industry leaders through cold calling, networking events, and targeted outreach strategies.
  • Partner with employers to create new job pipelines and work experience opportunities tailored to the training and skills of Apex graduates.
  • Attend community and industry events to expand employer connections and promote Apex as a valuable source of trained talent.
  • Work closely with Job Placement Coordinators to align outreach efforts with placement goals, ensuring job opportunities are shared effectively within the Placement Department.
  • Research local labor market trends to identify emerging industries, high-demand roles, and areas of growth that align with Apex’s training programs.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between employers and the Placement Department, ensuring a seamless flow of information and maintaining long-term relationships.
  • Record, track, and analyze data related to job leads, employer partnerships, and outreach efforts for regular reporting to the Placement Department Manager.
