Requirements
  • A financial services background, with practical understanding of lending, core banking, payments, origination and underwriting, servicing and collections, KYC, AML and fraud, transaction monitoring, reconciliation, and disputes.
  • At least 10 years of experience in financial services technology, including at least 7 years in or alongside the Microsoft field, with working relationships and knowledge of the co-sell motion, Partner Center, co-sell-ready offers, MACC, and partner funding.
  • Experience owning commercial work, including pricing proposals, defining scopes, writing signed statements of work, and building and defending effort models.
  • Credibility and concise communication with CIOs and CEOs.
  • Comfort with multi-year, multi-tower deal sizes of $2–3 million or more.
  • A builder's instinct and ability to prototype quickly to support deals.
  • Working knowledge of the financial services regulatory landscape sufficient to scope around it.
  • Azure architecture credibility; willingness to obtain AZ-305 within six months if not already held.
  • Sufficient agentic depth to scope Foundry, Agent 365, evaluations, human-in-the-loop gates, audit logging, and the cost of running agents at volume.
Responsibilities
  • Own the technical story for Praxent's Microsoft offer in financial services across Azure modernization, the Fabric and Purview data foundation, and agents on Foundry governed by Agent 365.
  • Work with sellers and the Microsoft field, including account executives, cloud solution architects, and partner development managers, to qualify opportunities and position Praxent as the technical choice.
  • Own proposals, including pricing, scoping, requirements gathering, and statement-of-work writing, and co-lead requests for proposals with the salesperson.
  • Build total cost of ownership and return-on-investment cases and size the Azure consumption ramp.
  • Identify Microsoft partner funding opportunities and work with the partner team to secure funding.
  • Communicate succinctly and effectively with CIOs and CEOs.
  • Create proofs of concept and working artifacts within hours or days when a pursuit requires proof.
  • Architect on the Microsoft stack, collaborate with the delivery team on deep technical areas, and hand off clear, buildable scope.
  • Explain Praxent's AI-native delivery model, including its coding harness and governance, to skeptical technical buyers.
  • Package successful approaches into reusable financial services intellectual property and repeatable offerings for the team.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric and Purview; Azure Databricks experience is also relevant.
  • Experience at a Microsoft Partner of the Year firm or at Microsoft.
  • Experience building financial services-specific intellectual property or accelerators.
  • Experience standing up a practice or offering from near zero.
  • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted engineering workflows such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot.
