Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
  • Two to seven years of experience in strategy, analytics, management consulting, corporate planning, utility operations, finance, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with large, complex datasets and translating findings into practical business recommendations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
Responsibilities
  • Support the annual and multi-year strategic planning process for the Utilities business.
  • Translate business objectives into measurable goals, initiatives, and performance metrics.
  • Monitor progress against strategic priorities and identify areas requiring attention or intervention.
  • Help communicate strategic priorities and drive alignment across the organization.
  • Analyze business, customer, operational, regulatory, and financial performance trends.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses to uncover root causes, identify opportunities, and evaluate emerging risks.
  • Develop recommendations and mitigation strategies to support business decisions.
  • Support scenario planning, forecasting, and business case development.
  • Build and maintain executive, business unit, and functional performance dashboards.
  • Monitor leading and lagging indicators to support informed decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate reporting processes.
  • Prepare executive-ready presentations, reporting, and strategic recommendations.
  • Partner closely with Finance, Operations, Regulatory, Customer Experience, Growth, and other key stakeholders.
  • Support special projects and strategic initiatives that advance Utilities business objectives.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in the utility, energy, infrastructure, or other regulated industries.
  • Experience using Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence and dashboarding tools.
  • An MBA, CFA, or another relevant professional designation.
