Requirements
  • Two or more years of experience as a Parts Administrator or Administrative Assistant in a service-oriented business.
  • Strong Windows-based computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Access.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Responsibilities
  • Answer a high volume of incoming customer calls.
  • Open parts orders in the computer system as needed.
  • Close parts orders for billing upon completion using the computer system.
  • Assist in resolving customer issues.
  • Process the return of warranty parts to the corporate warranty department.
  • Run daily and monthly reports and submit them to the corporate office as required.
  • Research part requirements using the computer system and equipment catalogs.
  • Check parts in and out of branch inventory to ensure accurate inventory control.
  • Maintain records on parts usage and return parts to the corporate warehouse as appropriate.
  • Ship and receive parts and equipment for the branch.
  • Keep parts stock clean and organized.
  • Generate accurate purchase orders for parts for the corporate office and outside vendors.
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous experience working with inventory is a plus.
