Requirements
  • Secondary school graduation certificate.
  • A minimum of 2–3 years of experience working in a similar role.
  • A Class 5 driver's license.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to follow General Contractor and RWC safety guidelines and regulations.
Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine installation specifications.
  • Prepare layouts in conformance with internal drawings using measuring tools.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join steel materials.
  • Trim rough edges from wallboard to maintain even joints.
  • Safely use power tools, including drills and saws.
  • Collaborate between departments to ensure efficiency in the build process.
  • Take direction from the Site Foreman on tasks to be completed.
  • Maintain attention to detail to ensure quality of work.
Desired Qualifications
  • One to two years of trade school certificate experience or training is considered an asset.
