Requirements
  • Prior experience in a senior compliance position responsible for ensuring compliance with federal incentives and grants
  • Proven experience in incentive/grant compliance in energy and/or manufacturing sectors
  • Expertise in energy tax credit, incentive and grant compliance (ongoing compliance activity)
  • Prior experience building and leading highly engaged teams that execute well with internal/external partners and collaborate to build sustainable processes
  • Excellent project management skills
Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and state incentives and grants
  • Collaborate with business operations, policy, legal, and external advisors to identify requirements, disseminate them to relevant stakeholders to ensure appropriate actions are taken
  • Coordinate with external advisors to respond to incentive and grant compliance questions
  • Lead tax credit compliance reporting and auditing activities
  • Contribute to assessment of and diligence required to secure tax credit insurance
  • Monitor changes to relevant laws and regulations and communicate them to the appropriate team members
  • Establish systems, processes, and training to ensure ongoing compliance
  • Present to internal and external executive teams, driving alignment towards compliance and company objectives
