Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • At least 2 years of sales and service experience in a retail or financial institution environment are required.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a bank, credit union branch, finance company, or equivalent management environment are required.
  • Successful completion of a drug screen, credit check, and background check is required.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in creating and maintaining a sales and service culture within the branch.
  • Maintain and help lead a highly motivated, well-trained team that consistently offers excellent service to all members.
  • Support the maintenance of effective employee relations within the branch.
  • Maintain a strong sense of ownership related to the branch.
  • Monitor key product penetration and sales metrics to support profitable, sound business practices and high service quality.
  • Apply and evaluate security and audit policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal laws and regulations.
  • Track and report branch activity, including transactions, teller accuracy, loan volume, teller and loan sales, and new accounts.
  • Assist in leading and managing branch sales, including loan applications, loan processing and closing, opening new accounts, and servicing existing members.
  • Ensure the branch team completes required ongoing training.
  • Maintain adequate staffing schedules for efficient branch operations.
  • Review member documentation to minimize quality-control errors and hold team members accountable.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to team members solving complex problems or member requests.
  • Assist with developing and managing the branch budget.
  • Act as the primary manager on duty when the branch manager is absent.

New freestanding branch on West University Drive reflects the credit union's continued investment in one of North Texas' fastest-growing communities. MCKINNEY, Texas (May 20, 2026) - Texans Credit Union has officially broken ground on a new branch in McKinney, its first newly built location in nearly two decades. The branch, located at West University Drive and Bois D'Arc Road, is expected to open in early 2027 and will bring the credit union's overall branch footprint to 15 locations. The groundbreaking comes during a period of sustained growth for Texans Credit Union, which reported organic membership growth of 7.5% in 2025, twice the industry average. In just the past five years, the number of members who choose to bank with Texans has grown by 26%.
