Requirements
  • Must have an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • At least nine years of relevant experience, or a master's degree plus seven years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with Java, JavaScript, React, GitLab, Maven, Jenkins, and Nexus.
  • Experience with modern data stores, including NoSQL, relational, and object-based technologies.
  • Demonstrated full-stack development experience spanning front-end applications, APIs, and backing data stores.
  • At least one year of demonstrated cloud-based full-stack development experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with Spring Boot microservices.
  • Experience developing 12-Factor applications.
  • Experience with data serialization formats such as JSON and/or BSON.
  • Experience developing and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to support an on-call rotation.
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack cloud applications and microservices.
  • Develop front-end applications using JavaScript frameworks such as React.
  • Design and implement Java-based back-end services and APIs.
  • Develop and maintain Spring Boot microservices and 12-Factor applications.
  • Integrate applications with NoSQL, relational, and object-based data stores.
  • Design and implement complex database and data repository interfaces and queries.
  • Analyze user and system requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
  • Design and code new software and modify existing applications to add features, correct defects, improve performance, or adapt to new environments.
  • Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards, data usage, system flows, work processes, and technical problem areas.
  • Develop and implement algorithms to meet system functional and performance requirements.
  • Integrate existing software into new or modified systems and operating environments.
  • Develop and execute test procedures for software components.
  • Debug software, identify root causes, and correct defects.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Maven, Jenkins, and Nexus.
  • Support release planning, requirements decomposition, automated testing, and Agile software delivery.
  • Write, review, and improve software and system documentation.
  • Recommend improvements to software development processes, standards, and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with users, systems engineers, developers, testers, and other technical stakeholders.
  • Serve as a technical or team lead when appropriate to the software development methodology and project needs.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation supporting operational systems.
