Requirements
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or logistics environment
  • Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse operations
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, solve problems, and make sound decisions
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Commitment to workplace health and safety
  • Successful completion of a C-TPAT background check
Responsibilities
  • Support accurate and timely order fulfillment to ensure an excellent customer experience
  • Coordinate warehouse and yard operations to meet operational performance targets
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of distribution centre employees
  • Promote and maintain a strong culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement
  • Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audit activities
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments while ensuring service and quality standards are met
  • Investigate operational issues and implement effective solutions
  • Collaborate with teams across logistics, production, customer service, sales, transportation, and procurement
  • Support employee onboarding, training, performance management, and development
  • Contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction
Desired Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field
  • Experience using RF scanning technology and/or SAP
  • Knowledge of C-TPAT requirements and Ontario Health and Safety legislation
  • Continuous Improvement, Lean, or Six Sigma experience
  • First Aid certification
  • Forklift operating experience
