Requirements
  • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience is required.
  • At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or logistics environment is required.
  • Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse operations is required.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is required.
  • The ability to lead teams, solve problems, and make sound decisions is required.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills are required.
  • A commitment to workplace health and safety is required.
  • Successful completion of a C-TPAT background check is required.
Responsibilities
  • Support accurate and timely order fulfillment to ensure an excellent customer experience.
  • Coordinate warehouse and yard operations to meet operational performance targets.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of distribution centre employees.
  • Promote and maintain a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audit activities.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments while ensuring service and quality standards are met.
  • Investigate operational issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with teams across logistics, production, customer service, sales, transportation, and procurement.
  • Support employee onboarding, training, performance management, and development.
  • Contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
Desired Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience using RF scanning technology and/or SAP is preferred.
  • Knowledge of C-TPAT requirements and Ontario health and safety legislation is preferred.
  • Experience with continuous improvement, Lean, or Six Sigma is preferred.
  • First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Forklift operating experience is preferred.
