Requirements
  • Maryland RN license; BLS (American Heart Association) required
  • 40 hours per week; 5 days; 8:30 am-5 pm
  • Work location specific to Baltimore County, Maryland; housing options include Baltimore City or Baltimore County East side
  • Excellent infusion skills, including placement of peripheral intravenous lines from newborn through young adult
  • High-tech skill care and use of Central Venous Access Devices, including peripherally inserted central catheters (PICC), Infusaports, and Hickman
  • Experience administering infusions such as intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG), Remicade, Entyvio
  • Pediatric experience working in an infusion suite/clinic (minimum 3 years), emergency department, or pediatric intensive care unit
  • Epic experience
  • Must have a valid Maryland driver’s license and current auto insurance, working vehicle; must comply with Maryland law for mandatory seat belt use
  • Provides, coordinates, teaches, and/or supervises care for a group of patients, usually in the home setting as a home health nurse
  • Ability to accept, work, and effectively teach and communicate with individuals and families from varied social and cultural backgrounds without judgment
  • RN home visit assignments include mileage reimbursement for over 25 miles per day; tolls and parking reimbursed

  • Facilitating and coordinating care by providing evidence-based care based on the nursing process, policies, procedures, and protocols of the Johns Hopkins Health System.
  • Providing direction to/management of other team members to promote quality, safety, and excellence in care.
  • Working collaboratively with, and providing leadership for, a multidisciplinary health care team to support program initiatives that support quality, safety, and excellence in care.
  • Participating in promoting improvement initiatives (clinical, financial, operational) that supports, protects and promotes area of specialty.
  • Implementing initiatives in area of specialty as directed by nursing and medical leadership.
  • Fostering a clinical environment of service excellence.
