Requirements
  • Must be knowledgeable in the operational theory, advanced troubleshooting, and repair of cryo and vacuum equipment, flip chip bonders, and metrology equipment
  • Having experience with high vacuum systems (theory, troubleshooting, and Helium leak detection for various pump packages) utilized in the processing of semiconductor substrates for testing modules is a plus
  • Must be proficient in capturing and reporting specific tool failures associated with primary responsibilities
  • Must have a proven track record of technical writing (maintenance and PM documentation/work instruction)
  • Experience with leading root cause/corrective action teams, establishing SPC, OCAP, and FMEA protocols is a plus
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Secret Security Clearance required
Responsibilities
  • Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving complex electrical, mechanical, and 1-off tool failures associated with semiconductor manufacturing equipment
  • Acting as the main point of contact for the ESG group in conversations centered around primary tool set(s)
  • Identifying and filling gaps in current documentation, best known methods (BKM), and parts inventory
  • Working with ESG's inventory analyst to identify, source, and secure critical spares
  • Dismantling, adjusting, repairing, and assembling equipment according to schematics, blueprints, and manuals
  • Developing and implementing improvements to enhance reliability, performance, and supportability of equipment and infrastructure
