Requirements
  • The candidate must have a Master’s degree or higher in health sciences, behavioral health, public health, education, communication, or related field; Education may be substituted for experience on a year-for-year basis.
  • The candidate must have previous experience with program management, implementation, and evaluation.
  • The candidate must have previous experience collaborating with communities and with program evaluation.
  • The candidate must have grant writing and research interest experience.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee implementation and evaluation across outreach projects, with emphasis on developing, implementation, and continuously improving core metrics across projects.
  • Support the implementation/evaluation of telemonitoring and distance education activities.
  • Complete readiness assessments and practice facilitation. Manage data collection, data management, and evaluation associated with outreach projects.
  • Write and submit reports to funding agencies in a timely matter, and coordinate data collection and entry into online system.
  • Independently promote the project through formal and informal presentation for community events and national/international conferences.
  • Applicants must be willing to conduct in-state travel sometimes requiring overnight stays.
Desired Qualifications
  • Master’s degree or more advanced degree in health sciences, behavioral health, public health, education, communication, or related field. Education may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
  • Experience with outreach is a plus, as well as supervisory experience with students and employees.
  • Experience with project-related technologies including telehealth/telemedicine, mHealth approaches and social media.
  • Experience in the primary care and school environments is desirable.
  • Experience with distance education, facilitation, and/or virtual learning.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Communication, writing, organizational, and presentation skills.
