Programmer Analyst – IAC23176

Understand the business requirements and convert to working model using latest technologies.  Involved in requirement and knowledge gathering, regularly interacting with business users.  Track lead for commercial lines and personal lines modules.  Application support and maintenance, defect management, bug fixes.  Rate revisions, compliance changes, agent commission processing enhancements as required.  Handle business queries, resolve issues, work with infrastructure teams, support deployments, releases and investigate issues.  Analyze complex requirements and provide technical design solutions with solution leads and architects of the various tracks. Work collaboratively with various other teams.  Involved in complex development, code review for peer programmers.  Responsible for unit testing, integration testing and user acceptance testing of the software application.  Responsible for database development, SQL and Entity Framework.  Accountable for hosting the web application on QA, UAT and production environment.  Investigate support tickets/alerts and resolve the incidents.  Maintain and support development best practices.  Assist with technology roadmap, internal technology needs, and perform other technical related functions.  Explore and experiment with new technologies and frameworks to support and enhance existing framework and architecture landscape.  Seek and build relationships to enhance delivery and to better understand, identify, and work through issues across the practice.

REQUIRES:  Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent in Computer Science/Applications/Information Systems, Information Technology or Electronics/Electrical Engineering.  Will accept 3 or 4 year Bachelor’s. 
1 year experience as Programmer Analyst, Software Developer, Software Engineer, Project Lead or related  

Must be willing to travel/relocate to anywhere in the US.
