  • Earned an M.S. in Hospitality Management, or related field.
  • Evidence of the ability to teach at the university level, including in-person and online (synchronous and asynchronous)
Responsibilities
  • Work with Professor-in-Charge of undergraduate education in the coordination of curricular professional work requirements of students, and advise on curriculum improvements based on data-drive assessments of job placements, alumni career pathways, and industry feedback
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to students through customized programming, student organizational advisement, and collaboration with college and university career offices
  • Maintain the industry and professional database and work to build sustainable, long-term partnerships between employers and alumni with the goal of creating opportunities for career and professional development of students and meaningful industry partnerships
  • Teach selected courses in the HM core including professional development seminars, core and elective courses in the undergraduate and non-credit programs
  • Work with the undergraduate Professor-in-Charge, industry and alumni relations team, and/or Academic Advisors to plan career focused events for students, assist in events that recruit students to the programs and elevate alumni engagement
  • Also responsible for other service and duties as assigned by the HM School Director
