Requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for discussions with Clune and trade-partner communities, from field employees to executives.
  • Strong planning skills to organize weekly and daily schedules involving meetings and walk-throughs.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate and detailed records.
  • Ability to work in team-focused environments, act as Clune's internal point of contact for safety-related items, and collaborate externally to develop industry best practices.
  • Mentoring skills to foster the growth of employees' safety knowledge.
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, talk or hear, climb stairs and ladders, and walk on uneven ground.
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field, or an equivalent combination of 5–10 years of education and experience.
  • Current First Aid, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, and Automated External Defibrillator certification.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local safety standards.
  • A resume must be provided.
Responsibilities
  • Act as an internal consultant to all company business units regarding safety.
  • Ensure Clune employees, trade partners, visitors, and vendors comply with Clune safety guidelines, project requirements, and local, state, and national regulations.
  • Work with the project team and Regional Safety Director or Manager to ensure project safety programs and protocols meet or exceed client safety requirements.
  • Ensure all required client safety documentation is provided to trade partners.
  • Review, audit, and file required client safety documentation.
  • Provide updated safety statistics to clients upon request.
  • Provide safety guidance during project planning.
  • Coordinate, manage, and/or conduct safety education programs for Clune management, supervision, and employees.
  • Attend and contribute to company and project safety meetings.
  • Attend outside training for additional designations and to keep current with industry changes.
  • Supervise and mentor safety personnel working on the project.
Desired Qualifications
  • Construction Occupational Safety and Health Administration 30-hour certification is preferred.
