Requirements
- Current Florida Registered Nurse license.
- Five years of perioperative experience.
- Current Basic Life Support certification.
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification.
- Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification.
Responsibilities
- Manage the operating room schedule and emergency procedures.
- Plan, organize, direct, and coordinate the clinical and operational aspects of the department.
- Ensure first-start surgical procedures begin within five minutes of their scheduled times.
- Assist with preparation of the budget and monitor supply and staffing costs.
- Circulate in operating rooms when needed.
- Troubleshoot technical aspects.
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support and/or Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification is preferred.
