About the Role

We are searching for a Senior Gross Margin Accountant to own Veho’s gross margin accounting. This role will own the revenue and cost of goods sold in general ledger accounts, work with A/R and Rev-Ops to validate our monthly revenue, and drive process improvements in our close process. This role will report into the Senior Manager of Accounting.

Responsibilities Include:  

• Record monthly revenue and cost of goods sold  journal entries 

• Assist with invoicing and collection matters 

• Support and assist with internal reports and reconciliations

• Provide support to the external auditors and other professional service providers as needed

• Support finance to understand the monthly financial results and variance vs. plan

• Assist with NetSuite optimization

• Assist with quarterly and annual external reporting

What You Bring:

• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, Business

• 4 years of experience in accounting, in either public company or venture-backed high growth companies

• Prior experience with NetSuite preferred

• Prior experience in physical good or logistics business is preferred

• Well-organized, detailed oriented, can prioritize and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment

• Previous demonstration of using data-driven problem-solving skills to solve challenges and implement solutions

• Team player, strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Passionate and persistent about operational excellence

  The salary range for this role is $85K – $100K .

  The actual salary is dependent upon many factors, such as education, experience, and skills. The pay range is subject to the discretion of the Company. Additionally, Veho offers a competitive equity package, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage as well as other benefits such as 401k and unlimited PTO for exempt-level roles.
