Requirements
  • At least 8 years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or platform operations in enterprise-scale environments.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Amazon Web Services, including production-scale experience with Elastic Kubernetes Service.
  • Extensive practical experience managing and optimizing CloudBees Core, JFrog Artifactory, SonarQube, and Snyk for large user bases and application volumes.
  • Proven ability to support platforms serving hundreds of applications and thousands of developers.
  • Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams and contribute to executive-level discussions.
  • Experience contributing to product roadmaps and backlogs and aligning technical work with customer needs.
  • Solid understanding of security and compliance in federal cloud environments, including FISMA and FedRAMP.
  • Must have resided in the United States for at least 3 of the last 5 years.
  • Must be eligible for Public Trust clearance.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver large-scale continuous integration and continuous delivery and container orchestration services as part of a DevOps team in federal multicloud environments.
  • Serve as a senior technical contributor for core DevOps tools, including CloudBees, Artifactory, SonarQube, and Snyk, optimizing scalability, performance, and availability.
  • Contribute to technical roadmaps for platform enhancements, security updates, and feature implementation.
  • Provide architecture guidance, capacity planning, and operational support for production-scale Elastic Kubernetes Service clusters.
  • Partner with security and compliance teams to ensure services align with FISMA Moderate and government-specific controls.
  • Engage with Application Developer Organizations and CMS stakeholders to gather requirements, incorporate feedback, and support enablement and training initiatives.
  • Participate in governance meetings and customer-facing forums to represent DevOps capabilities.
  • Drive automation, standardization, and self-service improvements to enhance developer productivity.
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior experience supporting cloud services at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services or other large federal agencies.
  • Familiarity with GitHub Actions, Terraform, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
  • Knowledge of container security and software supply chain risk management best practices.
  • Agile certification or experience working in a product-focused Agile framework.
