About the Role

As the Supervisory Principal for Figure Marketplace, you’ll report directly to the Sr Director of Operations and be responsible for building/operating fully compliant processes and controls with particular focus on broker-dealer activity.  The scope spans across multiple systems (vendor and proprietary) and requires transparent communication with Compliance leadership.

• Learn all operational processes across Marketplace and understand how they connect
• Become the subject matter expert on the regulatory risk in each and every process
• Insert yourself into every solution
• Mindfully consider product roadmaps and engineering deliverables for future deployment
• Document and articulate needs to leadership in an organized and timely manner
• Ensure all solutions demonstrate Pareto Improvement across three time horizons:  immediate need, short term goal, and long term vision
• Drive and take ownership of our team’s culture to include diversity, equity, & inclusion, entrepreneurship, exceptional performance, mutually supporting teamwork, ethical decision making, and leadership in the face of adversity

What We Look For

• Series 7, 63, & 24 (minimum)
• Advanced degree with 10+ years of relevant experience in broker-dealer operations
• Strong management skills, ability to work with multiple internal & external stakeholders, and clear communication using plain language
• Interest in blockchain with professional experience preferred but not required 
• Data focused individual who is confident and comfortable advising senior leadership on best practice
• High degree of intellectual curiosity - needs evolve rapidly
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and practice independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload
