Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in benefits administration, ideally in the hospitality or retail industry.
  • Strong understanding of employee benefits laws, regulations, and compliance requirements (e.g., ERISA, ACA, HIPAA).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building rapport with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and benefits administration software (e.g., ADP, Paychex).
  • SHRM or other relevant HR certifications are a bonus!
Responsibilities
  • Work closely with HR leadership to design, implement, and manage comprehensive benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
  • Be the go-to person for employee inquiries about benefits eligibility, coverage, and claims, providing prompt and accurate assistance.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and insurance providers to negotiate contracts, resolve issues, and ensure we meet all regulatory requirements.
  • Regularly audit benefits data to ensure accuracy and compliance with our company policies and regulations.
  • Create and deliver engaging benefits communication and education programs to boost employee understanding and participation.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to keep our benefits programs competitive and compliant.
  • Guide the annual open enrollment process, including plan design changes, communication strategies, and employee support.
  • Offer guidance and support to employees navigating leave of absence, FMLA, and ADA accommodation processes.
