Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Vantage still markets end-to-end design-to-manufacturing services across concept, regulatory, and commercialization.
  • Job postings remained active through June 2026, signaling ongoing demand and hiring.
  • Ampersand-backed Vantage can cross-sell combined Sterling and RBC capabilities to startups and OEMs.

What critics are saying

  • Jabil, Flex, and Integer are expanding 2026 capacity, squeezing Vantage's smaller scale.
  • Leadership churn from David Montecalvo to Carlo Colesanti in 2025 signals integration strain.
  • If Advantage Platforms underdeliver 60% claims, startup customers defect before launch timelines slip.

What makes Vantage MedTech unique

  • Vantage MedTech combines Sterling and RBC expertise across software, hardware, and manufacturing.
  • Its proprietary Advantage Platforms claim 60% faster development timelines, updated March 2025.
  • October 30, 2025 leadership reset unified CEO Carlo Colesanti, CCO Jim Bartel, and Executive Chairman Randy Barko.
