Electrical Engineering (1)
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Materials Science, Physics, Mechanical, or Electrical) or equivalent technical experience.
  • Familiarity with EMC concepts, inductance and capacitance measurement, and interpreting electrical test data.
  • Experience coordinating with external test labs or suppliers on electrical validation and EMC testing.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally to balance electrical performance, mechanical packaging, and manufacturability.
  • Strong communication skills for translating complex technical results to non-electrical stakeholders and customers.
Responsibilities
  • Design and build the core components that move power and data through the battery pack, including interconnects, current collector assemblies, busbars, voltage sense harnesses, and flexible circuits.
  • Develop battery modules and pack layouts with a focus on manufacturability, serviceability, cooling, and system-level integration, making sure everything fits and functions inside the vehicle or enclosure.
  • Create and manage detailed CAD models and engineering drawings for interconnects and PCBAs, using GD&T and stack-up analysis to define mechanical and assembly requirements.
  • Work hands-on through the full development cycle, from early prototyping to pilot builds and into production, troubleshooting designs as they evolve.
  • Leverage expertise in industries such as aerospace, robotics, data centers, or appliances to identify new applications where CelLink’s flexible circuits can deliver transformative value.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing engineers to design and validate product architectures, ensuring optimal electrical and mechanical performance.
  • Conduct and support basic electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing—including setting up test infrastructure, specifying test elements, and coordinating measurements in low-frequency environments.
  • Participate in technical discussions with customers and suppliers, helping interpret and communicate EMC and electrical test results in collaboration with subject matter experts.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams to define wiring responsibilities—mechanical engineers will typically own wiring layouts and physical integration, while this role focuses on circuit-level performance and electrical optimization.
  • Engage directly with potential customers to understand design requirements, pain points, and performance targets, aligning CelLink’s technology to their product goals.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and R&D to develop technical proposals, product roadmaps, and scalable design solutions that meet both customer and market needs.
  • Serve as a technical point of contact for customers, managing relationships, facilitating design reviews, and ensuring alignment on requirements, timelines, and deliverables throughout the development process.
  • Help lead engineering program management activities, including coordinating with suppliers, managing BOMs, tracking customer milestones, overseeing the design release process, and driving root cause investigations when issues arise.
Desired Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in HV battery systems or electrification architecture is strongly preferred.
  • Exposure to flexible circuits, lightweight wiring, or interconnect systems is highly preferred.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

CelLink makes flex harnesses, flex circuits that replace traditional wiring in vehicles and industrial systems. They pack power, data, and sensing into a single thin circuit, with busing, fusing, and monitoring integrated, and use automated, tool-free manufacturing for quick design changes and high-volume production. Their approach reduces weight by over 70% and volume by over 90% compared with standard wiring and targets direct sales to OEMs and hyperscalers with scalable factories. Their goal is to speed electrification and the digitization of industrial infrastructure by providing compact, reliable power, data, and sensing networks for automotive, aerospace, data centers, and grid storage.
