Requirements
  • Using data analysis to make recommendations to analytic leaders
  • Understanding in best-in-class analytics practices
  • Knowledge of Indicators (KPI's) and scorecards
  • Knowledge of BI tools like Tableau, Excel, Alteryx, R, Python, etc.
  • Overall experience in field of application of statistics, analytics to SCM in FMCG
  • Mandatory experience handling Supply Chain Operations & Planning processes
  • Mandatory Exposure to SAP APO SNP (preferred) or similar inventory/ planning tools
  • Mandatory Exposure to FMCG (Direct or Indirect through consulting engagements)
  • Programming Skills required - Python, PowerBI, SQL, etc.
Responsibilities
  • Execute the business analytics agenda in conjunction with analytics team leaders
  • Work with best-in-class external partners who leverage analytics tools and processes
  • Use models/algorithms to uncover signals/patterns and trends to drive long-term business performance
  • Execute the business analytics agenda using a methodical approach that conveys to stakeholders what business analytics will deliver
  • Support mathematical modeling needs for inventory optimization and Supply Planning optimization for designated geography across the globe
  • Create / leverage simulation tools and lead various required simulation and sensitivity analysis with multiple business scenarios to assess the impact of business dynamics on inventory and help define action plans
  • Supports Supply Planning continuous process improvement projects by generating required analysis, developing analytical & statistical models to resolve/detect escalated performance issues
  • Ideate in building initiatives around Supply Planning optimization processes across all regions for FG, RM/PM, MRO, MOQ Optimization, Segmentation
Desired Qualifications
  • APICS CPIM or CSCP or similar accreditation – highly preferred Or Motivation and capability to acquire accreditation
  • Exposure to Lean Six Sigma & Continuous Improvement techniques will be preferred
  • Experience deploying new analytical approaches in a complex and highly matrixed organization
  • Savvy in usage of the analytics techniques to create business impacts
