  • LPN or RN with a current, valid license in the state of Arizona.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a nursing leadership or management role, preferably in a post-acute care setting.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical nursing practices, patient care, and healthcare regulations.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • CPR certification required; additional certifications may be preferred (e.g., wound care, infection control).
Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage nursing staff on the assigned unit, ensuring safe and effective patient care.
  • Oversee nursing personnel, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs. Participate in the hiring, training, evaluation, and discipline of staff. Ensure staffing levels meet patient care requirements.
  • Monitor and assess patient care, ensure proper documentation, and implement individualized care plans. Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures. Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives. Conduct regular audits to monitor clinical outcomes and address any areas of concern.
  • Maintain open and effective communication with patients, families, staff, and interdisciplinary team members. Address any concerns or issues raised by patients or their families in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date patient records. Complete required reports on staff performance, patient care, and other administrative tasks as needed.
