- Six months to one year of previous medical experience is required.
- Basic Life Support certification is required.
- Assist providers with patient care.
- Schedule patients, answer phones, verify insurance, obtain prior authorizations and precertifications for magnetic resonance imaging and computed tomography scans, communicate test results, perform phlebotomy, and complete other clinical and front-office tasks.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with providers, patients, and their families while conveying a positive image of the practice.
- Pediatric medical experience is preferred but not required.
- Medical Assistant certification is preferred.
