Wesco makes succession move for EES Supplier Relations leader.

Wesco makes succession move for EES Supplier Relations leader. The electrical supplies distributor promoted its veteran director of supplier relations from its Communications & Security Solutions unit to take the role. Wesco International announced Aug. 31 that it has promoted Ben Jaffe to Vice President of Supplier Relations for its Electrical & Electronic Solutions (EES) organization, effective Sept. 7. Jaffe will lead EES supplier strategy, executive engagement, category performance, pricing and assortment strategy, working capital optimization and field alignment. Wesco said he will work across the company to strengthen supplier partnerships and drive growth across its electrical and electronic portfolio. "Building on his success leading our global security and pro AV supplier strategy, Ben will help deepen trusted supplier relationships and create new opportunities for mutual growth and success across our electrical and electronic portfolio," said Danny Castillo, Wesco Executive Vice President and General Manager of EES. EES is one of Wesco's three business segments alongside CSS and Utility & Broadband Solutions. The unit generated $2.51 billion in 2Q26 sales, up 11.2% year-over-year and accounting for approximately 38% of Wesco's $6.67 billion in total quarterly sales. EES organic sales increased 10.9%, driven by construction and OEM demand alongside pricing gains. Wesco was No. 1 on MDM's 2026 Top Electrical/Data/Security Distributors list with $23.5 billion in 2025 annual revenue. Jaffe joined Wesco in 2018 and most recently served as Senior Director of Global Supplier Relations for its Communications & Security Solutions (CSS) organization. In that position, he led supplier partnerships across Wesco's security and professional audiovisual businesses. He brings 20 years of experience across supplier relations, sales operations, global procurement and transportation management in manufacturing and distribution organizations. Jaffe succeeds Peter Bordonaro, who retired after 34 years with Wesco. Jaffe will be based in the company's Glenview, IL, office and report to Castillo. The promotion follows another supplier- and channel-focused leadership move announced Aug. 11, when Wesco promoted Greg Lindblad to Vice President of Global Channel Sales for converging technologies within its CSS organization. Lindblad was tasked with leading the company's worldwide channel strategy and working with major global integrators across security, pro A/V, networking, infrastructure, software and services. Earlier, Wesco promoted a new sales leader to lead its Construction Solutions segment in June. That announcement came shortly after Wesco reported record 2Q26 sales and a roughly 60% year-over-year increase in backlog on July 30. The Pittsburgh-based distributor also raised its 2026 organic sales growth outlook to 9%-11%. Recommended Reading
