Summary:

Responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of BLE, cellular and low power sensor products. Work closely with Product and Project Managers, Product Designers, and application team to drive engineering release and deliver success. Partner with technical support and customer success to troubleshoot product issues. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Ownership of firmware on hardware prototype projects and development of IOT devices platforms
• Good experience with Linux Kernel for developing device driver and user space application program
• Good experience working on software update (FOTA), board brings up, and system integration activities.
• Collaborating in a team environment across engineering disciplines
• Work closely with various core tech teams and other organizations to define prototyping scope and applications towards various technology roadmaps and products

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science; equivalent work experience 3+ years
• Experience with product design, specification, and implementation
• Minimum 3 years of experience with driver and board-level system software development
• Minimum 2 years developing applications or device drivers, programming in C/C++
• Minimum 2 years development experience of Linux user space native services or application programing
• Plus to have knowledge of debugging tools such as bus analyzers and oscilloscopes etc.
• Plus to have android knowledge or RTOS knowledge
• Plus to have automotive stack knowledge

The salary range for this role is $112,065 to $250,000, plus bonuses and Pre-IPO equity. It is uncommon for anyone to be hired at or near the top range for their role, and final compensation is based on the facts and circumstances of the case. The compensation range is broad because it reflects many factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience, and training directly relevant to the role, business and company needs, cultural fit, level, and location.
