Requirements
  • A current, active, and unrestricted Texas Licensed Vocational Nurse license, or a license recognized for practice in Texas, is required.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification is required.
  • A current TB/PPD test or chest X-ray is required.
Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients in a variety of healthcare settings.
  • Pick up available per diem shifts at facilities in the local area.
  • Provide nursing care, treatments, and services according to patient care plans and facility policies.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered and within the Licensed Vocational Nurse scope of practice.
  • Monitor and report changes in patients' conditions to the appropriate healthcare professional.
  • Collaborate with registered nurses, physicians, facility staff, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Complete accurate and timely patient documentation.
  • Follow facility policies, procedures, and applicable Texas regulations.
  • Maintain a safe and professional environment for patients and staff.
Desired Qualifications
  • A minimum of one year of nursing experience is preferred.
