  • Strong programming fundamentals, preferably in Python and/or TypeScript or JavaScript.
  • Experience building internal platforms, developer tools, or automation integrated into continuous integration and continuous delivery.
  • Hands-on experience with modern artificial intelligence systems, including coding agents, large language model application programming interfaces, orchestration, and production operability.
  • Experience enabling quality through automation, including end-to-end or integration testing and intelligent quality gates.
  • Solid systems instincts involving application programming interfaces, permissions, observability, and reliability.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, set standards, and drive adoption across multiple teams.
Responsibilities
  • Own the design and implementation of the internal artificial intelligence platform and strategy for company-wide leverage.
  • Use the engineering software development life cycle as the initial focus while designing platform primitives that extend to Operations and other internal functions.
  • Establish a platform combining industry tools with in-house systems, integrations, and shared infrastructure.
  • Define how models, tools, context, evaluations, secrets, and permissions are composed safely.
  • Build reusable primitives including agents, tool interfaces, retrieval and context layers, workflow runners, observability, and feedback loops.
  • Establish reliable environments, secure access to internal systems and data, and reusable adoption patterns.
  • Drive artificial-intelligence-assisted coding, review, and delivery workflows.
  • Integrate artificial intelligence into continuous integration and continuous delivery workflows for quality signals, summaries, risk checks, and developer feedback.
  • Identify software development life cycle bottlenecks and remove them through automation.
  • Measure pull-request and cycle time, adoption, developer experience, test speed and signal, and time to find knowledge.
  • Turn team-level experiments into platform defaults that scale across Engineering and inform non-engineering patterns.
  • Own the strategy for artificial-intelligence-driven test generation, maintenance, and automation.
  • Build systems for high-signal end-to-end coverage, faster feedback, lower flakiness, and less manual validation.
  • Partner with Platform and product teams to implement intelligent quality gates in continuous integration, continuous delivery, and deployment workflows.
  • Use artificial intelligence to improve regression detection, failure triage, and the workflow from requirements through root-cause analysis.
  • Design and ship agentic internal workflows that automate multi-step work across Engineering and other teams.
  • Build knowledge and search systems for specifications, decisions, runbooks, standard operating procedures, and operational context.
  • Connect agents to repositories, continuous integration systems, documentation, issue trackers, operations tools, and internal dashboards with permissions and auditability.
  • Prioritize high-return workflows such as operational toil, cross-repository changes, test authoring, incident context gathering, onboarding, and cross-functional standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure systems are observable, evaluable, maintainable, and reusable outside the engineering software development life cycle.
  • Set direction, build core platform capabilities, and embed selectively to drive adoption and gather design feedback.
  • Collaborate with engineers and non-engineering partners to make systems testable, scriptable, and easy to integrate.
  • Work with Engineering, Product, Design, Operations, and other leaders to select workflows for automation.
  • Provide documentation, reference implementations, guardrails, and adoption paths.
  • Introduce standards for artificial intelligence tool usage, prompt and tool patterns, evaluation, data handling, and human-in-the-loop controls.
  • Build evaluation harnesses and quality metrics for artificial intelligence systems.
  • Make build-versus-buy decisions for enterprise artificial intelligence tooling.
  • Monitor emerging coding agents, workflow agents, evaluation methods, and enterprise artificial intelligence tools.
  • Help the company adopt artificial intelligence while maintaining human control of quality and production outcomes.
Desired Qualifications
  • Agentic workflows, evaluation harnesses, retrieval-augmented generation or knowledge systems, and operations or workflow automation beyond Engineering.

Benepass introduces New consumer payment standards for employee benefits.

Benepass introduces New consumer payment standards for employee benefits. Employees can tap, submit, and discover eligible benefits worldwide with fewer payment issues, faster reimbursements, and a more personalized experience. NEW YORK, NY (June 16, 2026) - Benepass, a global benefits capital management platform, today announced a series of product enhancements designed to bring the speed, transparency, and convenience of modern consumer payments to employee benefits. The updates improve the three ways employees use benefit dollars through Benepass: card payments, reimbursements, and personalized benefit discovery. Employees increasingly expect benefits to work as seamlessly as the financial tools they use every day. Yet many benefit experiences still rely on slow reimbursement workflows, confusing eligibility rules, and frustrating card declines. According to WTW's latest EX Intelligence Report, 84% of employees feel informed about their benefits, but only 61% are satisfied with their benefits experience. Benepass is closing that gap by delivering three flexible ways for employees to spend benefit funds globally: * The Benepass Card: Even more eligible purchases are approved in real time through Benepass' fully owned card decisioning technology, helping reduce false declines and create a smoother checkout experience. Employees can tap, swipe, or insert their card for consolidated pre- and post-tax spending on eligible purchases globally. * Near-Instant Claims Reviews: Employees submit receipts in any language and receive reimbursement decisions in as little as 3 to 5 seconds. Claims are auto-approved using AI-powered automated receipt review. Human specialists handle complex cases to ensure accuracy and compliance. * Personalized Benefits Hub: New enhancements rolling out to all customers this year will help employees discover relevant merchants and spending opportunities based on their goals. Improved search, curated content, seasonal promotions, embedded discounts, and targeted campaigns will make it easier to maximize available benefit dollars. Today, 86% of all transactions on the Benepass platform are approved instantly, through auto-substantiated card transactions and instantly approved reimbursements. These latest enhancements are expected to further increase these auto-approval rates. "We are witnessing a massive shift: employees no longer tolerate clunky corporate workarounds for benefits when the rest of their financial life happens instantly," said Mark Fischer, Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer at Benepass. "You can buy groceries in one tap or easily put a card on file to pay for a monthly subscription. Your health and wellness benefits should work exactly the same way. We're erasing the friction of false card declines and delayed payments so that modern benefits finally match modern consumer expectations." The enhancements reflect Benepass' broader vision of building a benefits platform that feels intuitive from the moment employees receive funds to the moment they spend them. By combining intelligent card approvals, near-instant claims reviews, and personalized discovery experiences, Benepass is creating a more modern and flexible way for employees around the world to use their benefits. Stay connected. Its team is committed to sharing stories that help People teams do their jobs and empower employees to get the most out of their benefits.
