Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of high-priority IT projects for a client
• Lead efforts to define, plan, and drive completion of a client’s most complex IT projects
• Regularly communicate with the client to understand their overall goals, objectives, and priorities
• Collaborate with the client to develop and maintain their project portfolios and road maps
• Help clients identify, select, and secure technology solutions, systems, and vendors
• Work with the client to establish, execute, and improve key IT project management processes (i.e., stakeholder engagement, project initiation, budgeting, resource & vendor management, etc.)
• Lead effort to develop and maintain program and related project schedules to a sufficient level of detail to track critical deliverables, tasks, task owners, dependencies, and timelines
• Manage assigned project managers and/or project team members to ensure high-quality and on-time delivery of in-scope project deliverables
• Ensure clients and critical stakeholders are effectively informed about projects within their portfolio via regular project meetings, dashboards, road maps, and steering committee meetings
• Be accountable for the success of all assigned projects, project teams, and project deliverables

Education, Experience & Skills Requirements

• Possess a relevant degree from an accredited, four-year college or university
• Have at least seven (7) years of progressive experience as a consultant or in a consultant-like role
• Have at least seven (7) years of IT project management experience
• Have at least three (3) years of experience working with biotech/pharmaceutical organizations
• Have at least two (2) years of experience leading teams, functions, and/or IT services
• Have successfully managed various complex IT projects (e.g., ERP, Veeva QMS, LMS, system integrations, SharePoint, infrastructure, etc.)
