Requirements
  • Have 3+ years experience in business development or new sales
  • A track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales performance goals
  • Experience closing and project managing deals through complex sales engagements that include multiple relationship touchpoints (product, engineering) and an understanding of varied sales methodologies
  • Very strong interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, and critical thinking skills
  • Proficient quantitative skills and proven ability to interpret and apply data throughout your day-to-day work
  • Available to travel to assigned markets
  • Proactive do-er with an appetite for working with fast-changing, innovative technology in a fast-paced environment
  • Laser-focused on achieving target KPIs (targets, goals and/or strategic objectives)
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills; presents ideas and directives clearly and persuasively and actively listens when spoken/presented to
  • No ego. Strong focus on doing what is right for the customer and the company

Responsibilities
  • Build and progressively expand a portfolio of property managers by negotiating and securing win-win distribution partnerships, facilitating onboarding, and setting your partners up for success on Hopper
  • Identify, approach, and negotiate property management partnership agreements in our key markets
  • Maintain a baseline understanding of the technical integration of various software partners so that you can provide the right support to your clients
  • Develop deep knowledge of your assigned geographic markets and become the go-to source for all information relating to local trends and market dynamics for internal and external partners
  • Represent Hopper in our key target markets, build Hopper's company profile with key national influencers (e.g. VR conferences, associations, etc.) and provide expertise to the local industry at events
  • Work cross-functionally to get the deal done: collaborate with product, account management, onboarding
  • Educate clients on all significant product changes and cascade feedback on product and policy to the relevant internal stakeholders
  • Execute effectively based on KPI metrics (targets, goals and/or strategic objectives) set by Hopper leadership
  • Educate Hopper colleagues on market dynamics and specific needs/requests from your portfolio to help build improvements into the Hopper Homes offering
Desired Qualifications
  • Highly proficient in using CRM software, specifically in working with leads, opportunities and other core objects - Salesforce experience is a plus
