Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential is required.
  • At least 8 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or revenue cycle operations is required.
  • Strong experience with revenue cycle processes, including billing, invoicing, and revenue recognition, is required.
  • Deep expertise in reconciliations, accruals, and financial controls is required.
  • A strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Accounting Standards Codification Topic 606 (ASC 606) is required.
  • The ability to interpret contracts and apply financial terms operationally is required.
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) and financial systems is required.
  • Strong business judgment and problem-solving skills are required.
  • The ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment is required.
  • Strong cross-functional partnership and communication skills are required.
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable insights is required.
  • The employee must be able to talk or hear, sit for long periods, use hands to type, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.

Responsibilities
  • Strengthen revenue cycle controls and ensure accurate, compliant revenue recognition.
  • Improve billing accuracy, reduce revenue leakage, and enhance cash collection visibility.
  • Establish scalable, standardized reconciliation processes across revenue cycle components.
  • Enhance reporting on revenue performance, days sales outstanding (DSO), and key financial metrics.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
  • Lead end-to-end revenue cycle operations, including service tracking, billing, invoicing, and cash application.
  • Ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition aligned with contracts and GAAP (ASC 606).
  • Oversee accruals, deferred revenue, and reconciliation of billed versus earned revenue.
  • Own billing accuracy and completeness across programs and service lines.
  • Oversee invoice validation and alignment with contractual terms and service utilization.
  • Identify and resolve billing discrepancies, denials, and revenue leakage risks.
  • Lead reconciliations across service activity, billing, cash receipts, and the general ledger.
  • Ensure alignment between operational data and financial reporting.
  • Standardize and scale reconciliation processes and variance resolution.
  • Oversee financial interactions with HUB vendors and service providers.
  • Ensure accurate cost capture and alignment with client billing structures.
  • Partner on contract interpretation to ensure financial terms are operationalized effectively.
  • Partner with Accounting on revenue recognition policies and complex arrangements.
  • Maintain strong internal controls across the revenue cycle.
  • Support internal and external audit processes.
  • Deliver clear, timely reporting on revenue performance, billing trends, and cash collections.
  • Analyze revenue drivers, utilization, and margins to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve revenue cycle performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement to increase efficiency, accuracy, and cycle speed.
  • Support automation and system enhancements across billing and cash workflows.
  • Standardize processes to support growth and complexity.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team.
  • Set clear expectations for accuracy, timeliness, and accountability.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and operational discipline.
