GRAPHIC DESIGNER
As a Graphic Designer at HOW, you will be responsible for leading and executing design projects that bring our clients’ brands and digital experiences to life. Leveraging your exceptional design skills and expertise in digital platforms, you will create visually stunning and user-centric designs that meet client objectives and drive engagement. With your creative vision, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality design solutions and contributing to the success of our clients’ digital initiatives.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Creative Design Execution:
- Translate client briefs, brand guidelines, and project requirements into compelling visual designs for various digital platforms, including websites, social media, and display advertising.
- Develop user-centered design concepts and interactive experiences that enhance user engagement and achieve client objectives.
- Ensure design outputs adhere to best practices, design principles, and industry standards, while maintaining brand consistency.
- Design Strategy and Ideation:
- Collaborate with the design team, Client Growth, and other stakeholders to develop creative strategies and innovative design concepts.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions, providing valuable insights and creative ideas to enhance design outcomes.
- Stay updated with design trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices to inform design strategies and deliver cutting-edge solutions.
- Ideating, creating and designing creative assets that deliver performance for our client – primarily focused in the paid media environment.
- Work with the Paid Media and Performance team to develop creative thinking a test, learn and optimize mindset.
- Client Collaboration and Presentation:
- Work closely with clients to understand their design requirements, brand guidelines, and user preferences.
- Present design concepts and solutions to clients, effectively communicating design rationale and addressing feedback.
- Collaborate with clients to iterate designs based on their feedback, ensuring client satisfaction and project success.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Client Growth, media, and strategists, to ensure seamless integration of design deliverables into overall project objectives.
- Partner with developers to provide design specifications and guidance for implementation, ensuring design integrity and optimal user experience.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in design, visual communication, or a related field
- Proven experience (3-5 years) as a designer in a digital agency or creative studio.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of digital design projects, demonstrating expertise in user interface design, visual branding, and digital marketing.
- Proficiency in design software and tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Sketch, Figma, or similar.
- In-depth knowledge of design principles, typography, color theory, and user-centered design methodologies.
- Strong understanding of digital platforms and trends, with the ability to create designs that optimize user experience and drive engagement.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, ensuring the highest level of design quality and accuracy.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

NYC Salary Range: $60K-$70K
