Analyst – Accounts Receivable

We are currently seeking an Analyst - Accounts Receivable to join our Accounting team based in our New York, New York headquarters.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Partner with Accounting, Finance and Financial Systems teams to test and utilize new software (and upgrades on existing systems as needed) to automate and centralize billing & receivables for all AMCN Content Licensing & TVOD services 
• Ability to read, analyze and evaluate partner contracts, contractual terms and conditions to properly ingest and manage those terms and conditions in various systems 
• Complete vendor forms and provide relevant tax documentation to customer AP departments 
• Proactively analyze monthly billing activity to ensure accuracy and completeness 
• Actively pursue collections and resolve open AR items as applicable with the Cash receipts and Accounting teams 
• Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures and policies related to Content Licensing & TVOD Accounts Receivable processes 
• Prepare and send daily and/or monthly reporting including aging, billing and cash reports to Accounting, Finance and Sales Service teams 
• Assist other areas of department on an as needed basis 

QUALIFICATIONS (Required & Preferred) 

• Bachelor's degree 
• 2-4 years of related experience 
• Oracle or SAP ERP (Accounts Receivable & GL) experience a plus 
• Systems or Project work experience a plus 
• Strong computer skills with intermediate to advanced experience in Excel 
• Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills 
• Ability to manage shifting priorities and multi-task to meet specified deadlines in a high volume, fast paced environment 
• Team player with a positive and curious attitude 
• Ability to work overtime as necessary 

The base compensation range for this position is $60,000 to $65,000 commensurate with experience.
