Requirements
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as an Occupational Therapist.
  • A valid Working With Children Check.
  • National Police Clearance.
  • A current driver's licence.
  • Confident communication skills and the ability to connect easily with children and families.
  • The ability to work independently while also working effectively as part of a team.
Responsibilities
  • Complete initial appointments and get to know new families.
  • Run creative therapy sessions in clinic spaces and in the community.
  • Work closely with schools, families, and other stakeholders to support a collaborative approach for children.
  • Review therapy journeys and plan next steps as children reach their goals or transition on.
  • Participate in the professional development program.
