Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education (Associates Degree) and experience is desired for this position.
  • Recent experience with Oracle 11i Purchasing Module or similar ERP system is required.
  • 5+ years in order placement, requests for proposals or quotes and contract review and negotiation.
  • Strong experience in handling purchases for computer hardware and software.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and verbal and written communications.
  • Proficient in MS Office software.
  • Bilingual (English and French) languages skill is a plus
Responsibilities
  • We evaluate the candidates from the perspective of their experience with computer hardware and software. They must be very familiar with working with large software vendors and varied type of licensing arrangements. They need to name the suppliers and give concrete examples of the contracts and quotes negotiated and licenses they bought and tell us about how they negotiate them and provide in-depth / specific aspects of challenges that could tell us they were indeed seasoned in the field. An ideal candidate would be someone who have worked in similar environment who purchased large volume of computer hardware and software products not only for internal use, but also for resale to customers and for using the products in a hosted environment.

Procom designs and manufactures advanced antennas, Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), and signal combiners and filters for critical communications in public safety, aviation, telecom, IoT, transportation, and industrial sectors, with factories in Denmark and the UK. Its systems distribute radio signals to keep networks strong in large spaces or harsh environments, while combiners merge multiple signal paths and filters remove unwanted frequencies to ensure reliable transmission. It differentiates itself by focusing on mission-critical, high-reliability equipment tailored for professionals like police, firefighters, defense forces, airlines, and shipping, with Europe-based manufacturing that supports quality control and customization.
