Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Six to eight or more years of experience in product marketing, digital marketing, or brand strategy, with a highly creative portfolio; product marketing for a software, software-as-a-service, or platform product is the closest fit.
  • Experience owning top-of-funnel performance, including awareness-to-first-use conversion and diagnosing where an audience drops off.
  • Experience owning a product launch end to end, including go-to-market planning, launch tiering, pre-launch demand building, and post-launch review.
  • Experience building a messaging architecture with pillars, proof points, and persona-level messaging for a product or platform and holding other teams to it.
  • Experience establishing messaging standards, launch frameworks, or reusable practices that other teams, platforms, or business units adopt.
  • Experience translating complex technical or artificial intelligence capabilities into clear, persona-specific business benefits and messaging.
  • Hands-on experience personally writing, designing, and producing campaign assets on a real production cadence, not only briefing and reviewing agency or vendor work.
  • Experience defining launch tiers and orchestrating cross-functional launch timelines and communications.
  • Daily, hands-on use of artificial intelligence tools in personal production work, with a clear view of where they help and where they fall short.
  • Experience partnering with Legal, Compliance, or Regulatory teams to review communications before publication, ideally within a pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other regulated industry.
  • Comfort tying campaign metrics such as engagement, click-throughs, and sign-ups to downstream adoption and retention outcomes rather than treating them as the end goal.
  • Candidates must be authorized to be employed in the United States by any employer.
  • The position requires permanent work authorization in the United States.
Responsibilities
  • Segment by lifecycle stage rather than by organizational chart and match messaging to a colleague's stage with a platform.
  • Build divisional and cultural understanding into messaging and partner with divisional and local communicators so messaging is adapted rather than translated.
  • Ground the What’s In It For Me in the colleague’s actual workday and avoid capability claims that do not name a job somebody is trying to get done.
  • Own the competitive frame by positioning each platform against external consumer artificial intelligence tools, manual workarounds, or doing nothing.
  • Test messaging with real colleagues in more than one division before publication and rewrite what does not land.
  • Keep the message library current as platforms change and retire claims that stop being true.
  • Set the channel and audience strategy for each launch and own the resulting content end to end, from creative through send.
  • Coordinate channel and audience decisions with the Peer Advocacy & Community Lead.
  • Write the go-to-market plan for every major launch, including target audience, messaging pillars, channel mix, sequencing, asset list, dates, and the adoption number the launch is intended to move.
  • Run the pre-launch phase using early-access cohorts, waitlists, teasers, and champion previews.
  • Sequence launches with the CX Training Lead and the Peer Advocacy & Community Lead.
  • Run a post-launch review after every major launch and feed the results into the reusable launch approach.
  • Own the top of the funnel from unaware through interested to first use, identify drop-off at each step, and fix the weakest step.
  • Build an always-on demand layer between launches using internal surfaces, search, intranet presence, the platform site, and new-joiner moments.
  • Establish the reusable launch playbook, including message standards, frameworks, and templates.
  • Enable stakeholders, champions, and divisional communicators with positioning, proof points, and assets.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing through communication channels connecting colleagues with successful practices, lessons learned, and success stories.
  • Develop communication strategies that support adoption of new tools, workflows, and behaviors.
  • Partner with Experience Architecture and Product teams to understand platform intent and keep positioning grounded in actual platform strategy.
  • Feed user insights, friction points, and feature requests from campaigns and interviews back to platform teams.
  • Define plain-language guidance on ethical and responsible use, appropriate use cases, data handling, and when to trust or verify artificial intelligence output.
  • Shape responsible-use guidance with Legal, Compliance, and Regulatory Affairs.
  • Share ethical-use guidance with the CX Training Lead and the Peer Advocacy & Community Lead.
  • Own the legal, compliance, and regulatory review checkpoint for platform messaging.
  • Identify platforms that touch regulated, clinical, or personal data and keep messaging aligned with internal artificial-intelligence communication policy.
  • Write, design, and produce core campaign assets, launch copy, short-form video, and key visuals.
  • Set quarterly campaign targets for click-throughs, video views, and waitlist sign-ups while connecting them to adoption outcomes.
  • Ensure campaign metrics connect to 30-day active use and the Sean Ellis test.
  • Partner with the Adoption Analytics & Insights Lead on the dashboard connecting campaign metrics to adoption.
  • Develop and coach other colleagues and oversee and guide their work to achieve business outcomes.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in consumer technology, business-to-business software as a service, a creative agency, or another fast-paced digital marketing environment.
  • Experience launching or positioning an artificial intelligence product or explaining artificial intelligence capability and limitation to a non-technical audience.
  • Proficiency with modern creative design and video editing tools.
  • Experience driving engagement within enterprise collaboration tools such as Teams, Slack, or Viva Engage.
  • Experience partnering with architecture, engineering, or technical teams to ground messaging in actual platform capability and strategy.
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical or healthcare industry communication standards, including promotional review processes and data privacy requirements, for internal employee-facing content.
  • Experience partnering with learning and community counterparts to sequence messaging, training, and community activity into an integrated launch plan.
  • Experience preparing stakeholder groups for changes in how they work through audience-specific messaging.
  • Experience developing or communicating responsible or ethical artificial intelligence use guidance for an internal or external audience.
  • Experience positioning a product against a free or already-preferred alternative and winning users back.
  • Experience running message testing, user research, or win-loss-style interviews to shape positioning before launch.

Pfizer is a global biopharmaceutical company that discovers, develops, manufactures, and sells medicines and vaccines for a range of health needs, including vaccines, oncology, and other specialized therapies. Its products work by using biological mechanisms to prevent or treat diseases—vaccines train the immune system to fight infections, while medicines target cancer and other conditions. The company also engages in public health initiatives, such as efforts to provide vaccines to underserved populations. Pfizer’s broad goal is to improve global health by delivering safe and effective medicines and vaccines through research, development, and wide international distribution.

Pfizer's updated COVID vaccine ships as FDA approves narrower rollout for over-65s and high-risk groups

Pfizer received FDA approval for its updated Comirnaty COVID-19 vaccine on Thursday, with deliveries to pharmacies and clinics beginning immediately. The company's shares were trading at $27.9079 on 28 August. However, the market opportunity has significantly narrowed from pandemic levels. Eligibility is now limited to adults aged 65 and older, plus higher-risk patients aged 5 through 64. Despite Comirnaty having distributed over five billion doses worldwide historically, today's revenue potential is considerably more constrained. Pfizer faces competition from Moderna and the Novavax-Sanofi protein vaccine for this smaller patient pool. The company's current share price sits 5.27% above its estimated value of $26.51, suggesting investors are paying a premium before actual uptake and commercial results become clear.

FDA approves Pfizer-BioNTech XFG-adapted COVID-19 vaccine for high-risk groups

Pfizer and BioNTech have received US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval for their 2026-2027 COVID-19 vaccine targeting the XFG variant. The vaccine is approved for adults aged 65 and older, and individuals aged 5 to 64 with underlying conditions that increase risk of severe COVID-19 outcomes. The FDA approval is based on clinical, non-clinical and real-world data demonstrating the vaccine generates strong immune responses against currently circulating SARS-CoV-2 variants, including XFG and other contemporary lineages. The XFG variant was selected following FDA guidance for fall 2026 vaccine composition. The vaccine will begin shipping immediately and will be available in US pharmacies, hospitals and clinics within days. To date, more than five billion doses of COMIRNATY have been distributed globally.

Pfizer and J&J navigate patent cliffs with newer drugs offsetting blockbuster losses

Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson are navigating patent cliffs as key drugs lose exclusivity, with their latest results showing differing stages of transition. Pfizer's revenue excluding COVID products grew 5% operationally in Q2 2026, with newer medicines like Padcev and Vyndaqel contributing. The company expects $9.7 billion in cost savings through 2029 to support margins during the transition. Johnson & Johnson's Innovative Medicine sales rose 7.8%, despite Stelara revenue declining 55%. Tremfya sales surged 72.5% to $2 billion, helping offset losses alongside growth from oncology and neuroscience products. Johnson & Johnson raised 2026 guidance, with reported sales expected to reach $101.1 billion and adjusted EPS of $11.68. Its MedTech division provides additional diversification that pure pharmaceutical company Pfizer lacks, suggesting Johnson & Johnson's transition is more advanced.

Two profitable stocks with solid fundamentals and one to ignore

Two companies leverage profitability to outpace competitors, whilst another faces headwinds, according to StockStory's analysis. Primoris, which builds and maintains infrastructure in utility, energy, and civil construction sectors, struggles with a low gross margin of 10.3% reflecting high production costs. The company has seen falling earnings per share over two years and weak free cash flow margin of 2.2% over five years. BrightSpring Health Services, offering home health care and pharmacy services, has posted 23.9% annual revenue growth over two years. Its revenue base of $14.37 billion provides economies of scale. Pfizer's massive $63.7 billion revenue base gives it significant negotiating power. The pharmaceutical giant's adjusted operating margin expanded by 18.5 percentage points over two years, whilst delivering a 17.5% return on capital.
