  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read and understand Crescent Safety Playbook – Doing It Safe
  • Experience or ability to read and understand safety policies including OSHA, SDS, ISO, and SQF regulations
  • Ability to read instructions and perform basic arithmetic; familiarity with process documentation and non-conformance documentation
  • Ability to communicate with facts, balance talking with listening, and inspire results
  • Self-motivation to achieve targets and willingness to adapt to change; ability to manage time and prioritize tasks
  • Experience with or ability to learn Customer Systems (CAS, Pack Shop System, Oracle), Kronos Self Service, and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of inventory control concepts and ability to perform cycle counts, bin audits, and maintain stock levels
  • US Citizen or authorized to work in the United States (as required)
  • Experience with cross-functional collaboration and training others on policies and procedures
  • Awareness of safety culture and ability to participate in Safety Committee activities
  • Understanding of continuous improvement practices and ability to identify opportunities to eliminate waste
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with changing schedules and priorities
  • Ability to maintain documentation and records for quality events, ISO programs, and quality management
  • Familiarity with quality management of materials (QEMs), non-conformance tracking, and quality documentation
  • Basic knowledge of budgeting or cost awareness to support financial objectives
Responsibilities
  • Read and understand the Crescent Safety Playbook – Doing It Safe and ensure a safe and well-maintained work environment across all spaces
  • Actively participate in Safety Committee activities and champion a Safety-First Culture
  • Serve as liaison to shipping/warehouse associates to communicate order requirements and coordinate with production staff and customers as required
  • Maintain positive working relationships with customers by responding to inquiries, complaints, shipments, and inventory counts in a courteous and efficient manner
  • Communicate policy and procedure adherence; train Crescent personnel on proper policies and procedures; utilize cross training to maximize site productivity
  • Ensure customer expectations are met consistently and maintain productivity standards aligned with department KPIs
  • Maintain knowledge of Crescent supplies and keep proper stock levels; maintain a monthly performance log for the Crescent Team
  • Use Microsoft Office and other tools to communicate tasks, KPIs, reporting indicators; collaborate with other departments to drive lean initiatives
  • Lead projects to eliminate waste and defects within the department; drive continuous improvement and process optimization
  • Oversee quality management of material including QEMs, documentation such as job aids and work instructions, and non-conformance documents
  • Utilize account tools and ERP systems to manage QEMs and assist with ISO program management and training on FOD and parts awareness
  • Maintain clean and orderly work areas; inspect paperwork to identify reasons for returns or shipments; log non-conforming parts
  • Ensure current and accurate inventory control for each account; perform cycle counts, bin audits, and bin maintenance; report inventory metrics and action items
  • Respond promptly to client requests via phone or email; perform bin audits and cycle counts on quality escape research; process customer quality requests; process shipping document amendments and kit matrices upon request
  • Foster Crescent excellence by cultivating teamwork; maintain positive customer communications regarding quality issues
  • Operate with reliable data using reporting systems/tools to ensure data integrity
  • Support financial objectives through continuous improvement and waste reduction
  • Comply with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
