Requirements
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in power electronics design and development is required.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical standards, safety compliance, and documentation is required.
  • Electrical safety expertise is required.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of facility electrical power systems, including 480V/240V distribution, switchgear, motor control centers, uninterruptible power supplies, and generators.
  • Own electrical standards, safety compliance with the National Electrical Code, NFPA 70E, UL, and CE, and related documentation.
  • Partner with Facilities, Manufacturing, and Automation teams on equipment installations and upgrades.
  • Lead root-cause analysis for electrical failures, downtime events, and equipment reliability issues.
  • Ensure electrical schematics and wiring diagrams are maintained and updated.
  • Manage external contractors, integrators, and vendors as required.
  • Drive continuous improvement in power reliability, energy efficiency, and electrical safety.
  • Provide capital project support, including scope development, design review, and commissioning.
  • Serve as the Electrical Authority Having Jurisdiction.
