Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Clinical Field.
  • Clinical Licensure.
  • 2 years of relevant experience required.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, organizational and facilitation skills.
  • Strong knowledge of industry trends, best practices as they relate to the delivery of high quality and safe health care.
  • Strong project management experience and experience using variety of quality tools (e.g., DMAIC, Lean Six Sigma, PDSA).
  • Demonstrate solid history of achieving results with complex and dynamic teams.
  • Strong computer skills, including basic knowledge and use of Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to learn new systems software.
  • Maintain continuing education credits and licensure as required by professional organization and/or licensing body.
  • Maintains qualifications, training, and/or certifications necessary to access and/or analyze data reports; demonstrates commitment to continuing education related to job duties; meets mandatory education and health requirements; demonstrates competence in technical, interpersonal, and cognitive skills required to meet essential job functions.
Responsibilities
  • Develops and executes strategic quality plans within designated areas to assure continued innovation and world renowned quality in patient care.
  • Identifies and implements strategic and service-line specific quality initiatives supporting all levels of patient care within the organization.
  • Leverages clinical quality improvement knowledge and analytical skills to lead the quality management and improvement program.
  • Evaluates patterns, trends, and processes to improve quality of care for patients across the Health System.
  • Leads multiple, broad-scope, highly complex process/quality improvement initiatives in designated area(s) of responsibility.
  • Coordinates communication within and between multidisciplinary key collaborators and stakeholders.
  • Ensures appropriate consultation and education regarding data analysis and improvement opportunities.
  • Identifies, recommends, and implements improvement plans moving toward target clinical goals.
  • Develops large scope, precedent setting processes and clinical performance improvement mechanisms leading to best practices for clinical quality outcomes.
  • Facilitates clinical performance improvement process including identification, prioritization, and coordination of iterative improvements and implementation efforts.
  • Monitors the effectiveness of change management and improvement strategies and revision as needed to achieve target clinical goals and outcomes.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with leading service line level quality improvement initiatives in a complex health system.
  • Experience with gathering, analyzing, and disseminating comparative clinical data from internal and external benchmarking.
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills with ability to influence leadership decision-making.
  • Experience with data visualization tools and statistical software for quality improvement (e.g., R, Python, SAS, Minitab).
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance in healthcare quality and patient safety.
