Twilio has unveiled new AI-powered customer engagement platform capabilities for Latin America, aiming to address persistent communication challenges in customer service. The company is introducing four features: Agent Connect, Conversation Orchestrator, Conversation Memory, and Conversation Intelligence, designed to maintain conversation continuity across different channels and touchpoints. A Twilio Customer Insights Series report revealed nearly all surveyed businesses struggle with understanding customer preferences and unifying data across channels. For Q3, Twilio projects revenue between $1.505 billion and $1.515 billion, representing 16% to 16.5% growth year-over-year, with organic revenue growth expected at 11% to 12%. However, analysts note risks from intense competition with Zendesk, Salesforce, and cloud providers, alongside exposure to Latin America's economic uncertainties and regulatory challenges.
