  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science/related engineering field
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience working with implementations of interoperability standards for military aircraft mission systems standards such as OMS UCI

Responsibilities
  • Build software that enables interoperability with military aircraft mission systems standards, such as OMS UCI​
  • Use and develop interfaces to enable interoperability with vehicle systems and capabilities such as tactical data links, on-board sensors, autopilots, position/navigation, persistent data storage, and mission computers
  • Implement, leverage and improve state-of-the-art publish/subscribe service-oriented-architecture standards for unmanned aerial systems (UAS) that to perform tactical military missions
  • Collaborate with autonomy engineers to implement service-oriented-architecture software and inter-process messaging systems for autonomous UASs
  • Collaborate with DoD warfighter domain experts and 3rd party UAS vehicle vendors to develop and integrate autonomy software onto OEM hardware
