Span provides solutions for homeowners to manage and reduce their energy costs through its main product, the SPAN Panel. This smart electrical panel allows users to monitor and control their energy usage on a circuit-by-circuit basis via the SPAN Home App. It integrates with existing home energy systems, including storage systems and electric vehicle (EV) chargers, enabling features like scheduling EV charging during off-peak hours and prioritizing essential circuits during power outages to extend battery life. Span differentiates itself by focusing on cost-saving solutions, claiming to reduce energy bills by 15% and extend battery life by 40%. The company also supports electricians through its SPAN Authorized Installer program, providing training and resources to help them offer SPAN products. Span's goal is to meet the increasing demand for energy-efficient solutions, particularly for homeowners in older homes who face challenges in upgrading their utility services.
