Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, preferably in business, information systems, data analytics, organizational design, or a related field.
  • A minimum of eight years of progressively responsible experience in advancement services, fundraising operations, customer relationship management administration, advancement technology, analytics, communications, marketing technology, or related advancement functions.
  • A minimum of five years of progressively responsible leadership experience directing multidisciplinary teams and organizational initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success leading enterprise technology initiatives, customer relationship management implementations, digital transformation efforts, organizational change management, advancement operations, and complex organizational projects.
  • Advanced knowledge of fundraising systems, advancement technologies, analytics platforms, and constituent relationship management tools.
  • Proven ability to optimize operational performance, support comprehensive campaign initiatives, and translate strategic objectives into measurable operational outcomes.
Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic vision, leadership, and oversight for the advancement infrastructure supporting fundraising, donor engagement, and alumni engagement.
  • Lead a comprehensive Advancement Services operation providing systems, processes, data, communications, and donor-centered practices.
  • Provide direct supervision for Advancement Services, Prospect Research and Prospect Management, Donor Relations infrastructure, and the Advancement Communications and Marketing team.
  • Ensure fundraising operations, prospect strategy, donor relations, stewardship, communications, and marketing efforts are aligned, data-informed, compliant, and donor-centric.
  • Serve as a senior advisor to Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement executive leadership on advancement operations, donor engagement strategy, communications and marketing, data governance, and organizational readiness for major and comprehensive campaign activity.
  • Serve as the executive leader for the Foundation's advancement technology ecosystem, including Salesforce Education Cloud and related systems, analytics platforms, reporting environments, digital engagement tools, and related advancement technologies.
  • Provide strategic governance, optimization, integration, and long-term roadmap planning for advancement technologies.
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives, change management strategies, and business process redesign efforts that strengthen advancement operations.
  • Collaborate with Development, Alumni Engagement, Finance and Accounting, Internal Audit, and Information Technology to ensure that advancement policies, systems, and communications support fundraising effectiveness and institutional integrity.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership, management, and strategic direction for a multidisciplinary team responsible for advancement reporting and analytics, technology and database management, procedure development and documentation, records management, prospect research and moves management, donor relations, and marketing and communications.
  • Collaborate with accounting and finance on gift processing and gift receipting functions.
  • Provide enterprise leadership and governance for the Foundation's advancement customer relationship management ecosystem, including Salesforce Education Cloud.
  • Lead the selection, integration, and management of advancement technology platforms.
  • Serve as the institutional authority for advancement technology strategy, customer relationship management governance, marketing technology integration, constituent data architecture, and advancement systems planning.
  • Partner with central Information Technology and participate in the larger campus customer relationship management ecosystem supporting the full lifecycle of UNLV constituents.
  • Ensure the ongoing optimization, data integrity, scalability, and effective use of systems supporting philanthropy, alumni engagement, and institutional priorities.
  • Recommend and implement strategies that reinforce a culture of service and operational excellence, enhance stakeholder engagement, and strengthen philanthropic support through coordinated data, systems, messaging, and donor-centered practices.
