Requirements
  • At least 10 years of relevant management experience as an analyst.
  • At least 5 years of relevant Department of Defense contracting experience.
  • Experience conducting research and compiling data from multiple sources to understand existing operations and identify problem areas.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data to pinpoint inefficiencies, bottlenecks, or areas for improvement.
  • Ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present findings effectively.
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools, spreadsheets, and presentation software.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with tactical systems.
  • Experience analyzing and generating monthly reports for task orders requiring financial metrics and other government reporting and deliverable contract requirements.
  • Experience developing procedures and training materials on concepts and guidelines.
  • Experience analyzing operations within functional areas such as finance, operations, or human resources.
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for up to 50% of the time.
  • Ability to accurately communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, including delivering presentations.
  • Must be a United States citizen.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher.
Responsibilities
  • Plan, monitor, and manage internal projects from initiation through completion.
  • Lead and coordinate project planning, resourcing, staffing, supply and subcontract management, progress reporting, troubleshooting, and personnel management.
  • Ensure project results meet established requirements for technical quality, reliability, schedule, and cost.
  • Support the administrative and business operations of the project.
  • Gather and analyze data about organizational operations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Apply acquired skills to perform routine tasks and complete assigned work with limited autonomy, following clearly defined procedures.
  • Maintain ongoing coordination with colleagues across the organization to ensure effective and efficient utilization of resources, planning, and execution.

Sigma Defense wins SUNet 2.0 contract to build secure AI platform for Department of War

Sigma Defense has been selected to deliver a SUNet 2.0 prototype under an Other Transaction Agreement. The initiative aims to create a secure environment for artificial intelligence and machine learning development, data collaboration, and mission applications across the Department of War. Under the initial six-month effort, the Georgia-based company will deliver a production-representative Minimum Viable Product. The prototype will enable the government to evaluate core capabilities supporting AI/ML development, data operations, secure collaboration, and technology integration. The programme includes potential for a follow-on production effort. SUNet 2.0 is designed to provide a mission-ready foundation whilst maintaining government ownership of governance, identity, security, data, and operations.
