The primary purpose of this position is to perform various clerical functions. This position requires good organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and accuracy while handling a high volume of tasks that relate to the clearance, entry, and assignment of submissions. This associate works under direct supervision following standard processing procedures.

Ability to follow specific directions when provided by an Underwriter, USS and/or Document Management Technician regarding submissions and correspondence; ability to determine independently how to properly process documents based upon standardized guidelines
Monitor product line submissions in all systems; clear and enter submissions according to standard guidelines; assign and route to correct underwriter
Maintain a clear understanding and comprehension of all clearance processes and guidelines

Required Qualifications:

Typing 50+ wpm
2 years of MS Office skills
Ability to follow procedural guidelines and recognize exceptions to guidelines
Successful experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Self-directed and highly productive with light supervision
Comfortable with high volume workloads, fast-paced service standards and metric based performance assessment
Detail-oriented, results-oriented and accuracy-focused
Good verbal and written communication skills
Previous experience with OnBase is preferred
Proficiency with any underwriting system is preferred

**This position requires reporting to the Plano, TX office 5 days a week during the duration of the training period.
