Requirements
  • Is a strategic thinker who is able to identify and distil, often complex, challenges into easily understood, actionable strategy
  • Brings true leadership in social and content - is visionary about what's next across for brands across channels and platforms and is truly excited by the potential
  • Has experience of best-in-class hand-on delivery of campaigns of all shapes and sizes, from brand building to sales driving activity
  • Understands and can clearly map out the roles for social across paid, owned and earned and who can effectively work with a comms strategist / media agency to detail this for clients
  • Can work with an overarching creative idea and translate that into a brief for relevant content across social platforms
  • Can work with a brand strategy and ensure that activity is developed for a social-environments delivers against brand objectives
  • Puts the consumer at the heart of any response using data and story-telling
  • Has an expert understanding how Social Media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.) work and keeps knowledge on current formats and tactics up to date
  • The ability to simplify. Many of our clients are not expert in social and they are looking to us to bring that expertise. Our Strategy Director (you!) will most likely be the expert in this area in the room - the ability to bring the group along with you by laying out simple, clear, compelling thinking is essential
  • Natural presenter, comfortable and convincing in client meetings and with the wider agency team
  • A master story-teller who is able to build a compelling narrative around work and presentations
  • Organised and autonomous (this role will be on one client but there are multiple work streams working together)
  • Ability to plan for and measure effectiveness both holistically and across social channels
  • Ability to work with and lead junior team members ensuring they are clear on the expectation of their role / specific task
  • The confidence to respectfully challenge a brief with the client and ensure that every brief we receive can lead to work we will be proud of
